She walked into the main entrance of the hospital and went to the front desk. Before she could go up to see Beck she had to get his room and floor number and also get her bags checked. The employee searched her bag to make sure that anything harmful wan’t in there and gave Jade the all clear. She proceeded to the elevator and pressed the button to go to Beck’s floor. She was the only one in the lift because by the time she had managed to pull herself together enough to go and visit him it was quite late at night. The journey seemed to last an eternity and Jade began to have doubts about wither or not she should even be here. Before she had chance to fully change her mind the doors opened up onto Beck’s floor and light flooded in from the halls, a nurse hurried into the lift. She walked slowly down the hall reading each number on the doors to find Beck’s room. Each number closer her heart began to race more and fear flickered throughout her body. Jade headed Beck’s room and stopped. She wasn’t breathing. She squeezed her eyes tigh and lay her hand on the handle. More second doubts began to flood through her mind but before she knew it she was gentles pressing down the handle and opened the door slowly. Jade stepped into his room and closed the door silently behind her. She swallowed and her voice became timmed, her lips struggling to form words. “Beck?”
